Spoiled rich girl

Aloha Everyone!

Come join me at my house for the evening to say “aloha” and wear an adorable lei. I am celebrating my 21^st birthday and I would love for you and your loved one to come celebrate it with me. Every girl lives for the day she turns 21, and now that mine is finally here, I am going to live life to the fullest on my birthday! Come toast to love and laughter, and happily ever with me!

The party will be at my house and the address is 12305 5th Helena Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90049. The party will be on June 21, 2015. The whole entire house will be decorated with a bunch of tiki party stuff, so make sure you do dress up for the occasion. It will be about 90 degrees on that day so it will be the perfect day to have a tiki party in California. Why wouldn’t you want to come to my party? I mean it is my party, and I am the prettiest, most popular girl in school. Just kidding! NOT

There will be fruity drinks with little umbrellas for everyone. Single girls and lots of cute guys, so wear your grass skirts and I will provide the lei! I would like everyone to come and celebrate my special day with me not only because I think my birthday party will be the best, but I actually think that having everyone here celebrating it with me will make it extremely special. imagine grass skirts, torch lights, Pina coladas, and other delights everywhere, you're going to feel like you are actually in Hawaii! It’s going to be a perfect day, and all you have to do is say “Aloha” and wear a lei we’ll have a “hula”-va time! Get it?

Have you ever had a Hawaiian Style BBQ? Well me neither, but it will definitely be at my party! We’ll drink mao-tai’s and coladas and feast on tropical food. Once you see the spread you’ll surely get in the mood because my party will be the best party ever! Guys wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt, or no shirt at all! Lady’s it’s a must for us to wear a grass skirt, and coconuts covering our precious boobs. What’s a luau party without a little cleavage showing? It’s sure to be a blast and you must be insane to not want to come to my party.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SHOT GLASS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN THE PARTY, there will be security guards in front of the door, checking and watching what is going on. I will be giving out little shot glasses with your names on the shot glasses. Listen to this important message because my security guards will definitely ask you to leave if you do not have a shot glass once you are going in my house. And oh yeah, I almost forgot this one important information, YOU MUST BE 21 AND OVER TO COME TO THE PARTY sorry not sorry but I am way too pretty to go to jail and I just got my nails done.

If you want to bring someone with you that I did not invite make sure you let me know five days before the party so that I can put them on the list.

I want lots and lots of gifts, so please bring gifts! In case you are wondering what type of gifts I would like to receive, I want uggs, Gucci bags and Gucci perfume, Chanel earrings, MK watch because I need a new one or two, and Louis Vuitton shoes. What can I say, I am an expensive girl with an expensive taste. See you soon! XOXO

Open letter to Police Officer

Dear Police Officer:

I was the young lady you stopped and gave an unnecessary ticket to. I wanted to let you know that you are a terrible police officer, and I wish one day you get your badge taken away because I don't think you deserve it. You're lucky I don't want to go to jail for assaulting a police officer because I would've smacked you when I had the chance.

When you stopped me, I thought you were going to give me a warning instead of a stupid ticket. I did not notice I was going above the speed limit until you pulled me over. We could've handled this in so many different ways. You could've given me a warning, letting me know that I am going above the speed limit. We could've talked it out like two adults, even a simple “Hey, slow it down” would've been nice. I would understand if it happened in a school zone, or you felt that I was endangering the lives of other people, but I wasn't, and you knew that, but you still decided to give me a ticket.

Nevertheless, I was driving home from the gym, and accidentally went 5 miles above the speed limit without noticing. You pulled me over, and gave me an unnecessary ticket for speeding. I had a perfect clean license and now because of you I have POINTS ON MY LICENSE!!! which is something nobody wants.

I was actually shocked that you stopped me because other drivers next me were going 10 times faster than I was, you still decided to give me the ticket. I find you extremely unreasonable and I am very upset that you gave me this ticket just for going 5 miles above the speed limit. I wish I had taken another route, if only I knew you were going to be there.

Before you gave me the ticket, I even tried to explain to you that it wasn't my intention to go above the speed limit, but you ignored me and still decided to give me a pathetic ticket. Now I have points on my license and I have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a stupid speeding ticket when I could've saved that money for something better, LIKE SHOES!

Here is an advice, people sometimes don't notice when they are only driving 5 MILES ABOVE THE SPEED LIMIT! People have places to go, bills to pay, and children to worry about. Do you really think they have time to be checking if they are going one or four miles above the speed limit? No they do not, so give us a break. For the future, try to be less uptight and more reasonable.

                                                   Digital is Better than print

              Digital has become a grand part of our lives as human beings evolve. Digital helps us more than using a printed source to read. Being able to look up words and references immediately enhances knowledge and fuller understanding than when a person reads something on paper and then searching it up later. When it comes to utilizing digital, we do not have to agonize about wasting paper or how much it impacts the environment. In Giancarlo Rivera’s “Digital versus Print” blog post he states many advantages and reasons why he believes that Digital is better than Print.

              You are extremely limited when you read a printed source such as a book or a magazine. “When searching on the web, if one does not understand text, they can look it up quicker than searching through the index or other books.” (Giancarlo) I believe what he said is true. When it comes to using digital to read you are unlimited to what you want to know. You can know more about what you are reading by quickly searching for a definition of a word on google, or getting more information about the story or article you are reading on the internet.

             When it comes to utilizing a digital, it is easier and faster to save the important information you would like to read again, or keep. Giancarlo sated in his blog which I strongly agree with “Technology is an easier way to obtain all the information one needs through gigabytes.” You can save anything you would like to keep just by saving it on your iPad, or laptop. Not only it is easy to save your favorite book or article, you can also save the page you were on if you can’t finish reading it.

              You can save a lot of time just by using digital. Not everyone has the time to drive to the store and shop for something they need, or drive to the doctor’s office just to make an appointment. You can quickly just go online and make appointment yourself, or use online websites to shop. Giancarlo stated “Technology is transforming us to be more time efficient and get things done the easier way.” Which is true. Digital is unlimited, we can use digital not only to read but to do little task we don’t have time to do.

              Generally speaking, digital is better than print in many ways. Many people are now using digital more than books or articles because digital is better to read, shop, and even communicate. Digital is just an amazing technology to use at home or at work. Just imagine how easy life would be just    because you have digital.

                                                Digital is better than print

            For many decades people have been utilizing printed resources, such as magazines, newspapers and much more to read, but as the world processed from a simple to a more complex form people have updated to new technologies to make life easier. Digital is one of the technologies the world has invented to save us from using paper, or printed resources. Digital is an easier way to read, and a much easier way to advance our knowledge.

             When it comes to magazines, or newspaper people tend to read more, read longer and sometimes they want to save their favorite articles or books because they would like to read it again, but saving paper tend to get messy because it is only a sheet of paper; as to digital, it is very easy for people to organize their favorite articles or books. Everything a person wants or needs is on a digital which makes life easier.

              A single sheet of paper may seem like an insignificant thing. But the use of thousands of sheets each day can have a huge impact on the environment. That's especially true in schools, where students and teachers all use lots of paper. Once the paper has been made, it becomes a huge waste problem that people cannot afford.  On the other hand, a person using a tablet, or an iPad will not use trees. People should stop buying paper books and buy a digital

             Utilizing a tablet or a kindle to read is just relaxing and stress free. A person does not have to worry about flipping pages, or losing the page they were reading; they just have to scroll to the next slide or save on their computer or tablet. When a person is using a digital, they are unlimited to pull out any relevant information they want to know more about (Dan Blank ). Using the internet and searching for further information will help a person advance their knowledge.

            Although people have used paper for so long, and have used it every day; a digital has a better impact. Being able to look up words and references immediately enhances knowledge and a fuller understanding than when a person reads something on paper and then looked it up later when they are around a dictionary or encyclopedia. Digital is just easier, time consuming, and saves trees.

Hello my name is Burth. My major is Nursing because I am going to be a Neonatal nurse practitioner one day. I love babies; making them happy and caring for them is something I love to do so I believe that being a neonatal will be a great career for me. The goal I would like to achieve in this class is of course to be a better writer. I love to read so reading a lot for this class will not be a problem. I would like to learn as much as I can because I believe this course will help with my future career. One thing I am not looking forward to would be research papers, but ill manage.
